Custom Fabricated Steel Ties

To meet our customers’ goal of minimizing track-outage time, we can fabricate custom steel ties with RIDEX^® rail plates attached. These prefabricated panels can be dropped into place, accelerating the installation by hours and giving our bridge joints a solid foundation. What’s more, steel ties are more durable and environmentally safer than creosote-soaked timber ties.

In addition, steel tie lengths, drilling patterns, and overall dimensions can be customized to the railroad’s specifications, all of which work together to stabilize the bridge deck and reduce vertical movement and rail pumping.
